POSH: News and Tips

POSH or ICC committee is a must for every organization which believes in safety of its women employees.


I am involved in various companies to comply with The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, It is a legislative act in India that seeks to protect women from sexual harassment at their place of work.

Most Indian employers have not implemented the law despite the legal requirement that any workplace with more than 10 employees need to implement it failing which a company can be liable for penalty or all together cancellation of licence.

As a POSH external member I have worked with various organisations like Birla soft, SBI Life, Sity Cables, Medico Electrodes International limited, Rahul Mishra Designs and more which has made me well versed with the process and how it needs to be applied in case an employee reports an incident.

I have handled many sensitive cases which have matured my thinking and helped me gain insight into important issues which affect the performance of all employees in the workspace.
